En arrivant sur SL, je ne savais pas que s'y trouvaient des francophones. Je ne les ai même pas cherchés, en fait :)
C'était un dimanche après-midi pluvieux, la mule était encore chargée de la veille :/
Ne sachant pas trop ce que je fichais là, je suis naturellement allé farfouiller dans les menus, y ai trouvé un moteur de recherche et ai tapé 'blues club', on ne se refait pas ;,)
Et j'ai débarqué, la g... enfarinée, au Juke Joint Blues, j'avais trouvé le nom sympa.
A l'époque, nous n'étions que peu à le fréquenter, une centaine peut-être.
Il y avait là un fameux DJ. Il connaissait le blues comme personne et officiait la grand-messe de toutes les couleurs.
A force de m'y rendre, le noyau dur de ses habitués avait fini par accepter le petit nono europeen.
Je ne comprenais pas la moitié de leur slang, mais il faisaient l'effort de comprendre mon english bout-de-bois.
Puis le Juke a grandi et est devenu un des plus fameux Club de Blues de tout SL.
Depuis bien longtemps, je n'avais plus trop le temps de m'y rendre, mais j'y avais conservé quelques contacts.
La page est tournée, mais SL ne sera plus tout à fait pareil sans lui...
